Join us for an Exclusive Charity Evening as our wonderful patron, Robert Daws, brings his energy, theatrical passion, and brilliant storytelling to The Cross Keys – all in support of CHUMS Charity.
Robert is a popular household name, a much-loved TV, film, and stage actor with a career that spans decades. You will recognise him from classics such as The Royal, Jeeves and Wooster, Poldark, Only Fools and Horses, Doc Martin, Midsomer Murders, and Sister Boniface Mysteries – to name just a few.
In 2023, he starred alongside Liz Hurley in The Piper, playing the chilling role of Peter Weiss.
On stage, Robert has shone in productions like The Secret of Sherlock Holmes and Yes, Prime Minister in London’s West End. This summer, he will be taking to the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe in Wodehouse and Wonderland.
As if that were not enough, Robert is also a talented and exciting crime writer. His debut novel The Rock has hit the Amazon bestseller list five times – followed by two further master pieces, Poisoned Rock and Killing Rock.

The night will be a relaxed and unforgettable evening of conversation, anecdotes, reminiscing and lots and lots and lots of hilarious laughter – a rare chance to hear directly from Robert about his extraordinary and successful life on screen, on stage, and penning every page.
