“Life with special needs has not been easy for me, especially when it came to making friends at school; and that’s where the social group CHUMS comes in. If it wasn’t for CHUMS, I would have struggled to make the lifelong friends I have today.”

“I was originally scared and kinda friendless before I joined CHUMS, having recently lost someone at school. When I joined CHUMS Friendship Scheme I managed to make friends who helped me settle in at college and be more outgoing. Going to the Friendship Scheme every Friday really helps and I see my friends as family now, people I trust. Joining CHUMS is something I’d never change and it helped me change for the better.”
